Hanwha's Noh Si-hwan (23) surpassed 100 RBIs following 30 home runs. Noh Si-hwan is the fourth player in the KBO League to surpass 30 home runs and 100 RBIs under the age of 23 after Jang Jong-hoon, Park Jae-hong, and Lee Seung-yeop.

Noh Si-hwan started as the third batter and third baseman in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League Lotte home game at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on the 14th, and brought third baseman Choi In-ho home with a grounder to shortstop in the first at-bat with one out and three outs in the first inning to score an RBI.

It was his first career record with 100 RBIs of the season. After surpassing his first 30 home runs against LG in Jamsil on the 2nd of last month, he reached the 100 RBI mark. His 30 home runs and 100 RBIs are the 86th in KBO League history. Considering Noh's age, the record is all the more meaningful.

So far, only three players in the KBO League have achieved 30 home runs and 100 RBIs at the age of 23 or younger, including Binggrae Jang Jong-hoon (35 home runs and 114 RBIs), Hyundai Park Jae-hong (30 home runs and 108 RBIs) in 1996, and Samsung Lee Seung-yeop (32 home runs, 114 RBIs, 38 home runs and 102 RBIs, 54 home runs and 123 RBIs) in 1997-1999.

Noh Si-hwan was named the fourth player in history, following the seniors who were selected as the KBO 40-man legend last year.

Jang Jong-hoon (35 homers, 114 RBIs, 41 homers and 119 RBIs) had 30 home runs and 100 RBIs for Hanwha between 1991 and 1992. Noh Si-hwan became the eighth player with his 10th record after Dan Roman (45 home runs, 109 RBIs), Jay Davis (30 home runs, 106 RBIs), Song Ji-man (38 home runs, 104 RBIs), Willin Rosario (33 home runs, 120 RBIs, 37 home runs, 111 RBIs) in 2016-2017, Gerard Hoying (30 home runs, 110 RBIs) and Lee Sung-yeol (34 home runs, 102 RBIs) in 2018.

He is the fourth batter in Korea after Jang Jong-hoon, Song Ji-man, and Lee Sung-yeol. This is a record that even Noh's idol, Kim Tae-kyun, failed to achieve. Kim hit more than 30 home runs in 2003 (31) and 2008 (31) but failed to exceed 100 RBIs. He also had 100 RBIs for four seasons, but failed to achieve 30 home runs at the same time.

Noh Si-hwan, who is ranked No. 1 in this category with 31 home runs, virtually confirmed the home run king as second-place Choi Jung (SSG, 29) finished the regular season with a hamstring injury. After Jang Jong-hoon (28, 35, 41) from 1990 to 1992, and Kim Tae-kyun (31) in 2008, Hanwha is about to become the third player to become the home run king. 슬롯머신

In addition, Noh Si-hwan, who is also No. 1 in this category with 100 RBIs of the season, widened the gap with No. 2 Socrates Brito (KIA, 95 points) to five points, solidifying his No. 1 ranking in two home runs and RBIs.
